Hello, I am tomas.
I am in love with first gen Hondas and recently I bought both of them.
Happy to meet you and learn more about those lovely cars.

Both are Hondamatics, both 1979.
Prelude comes from Germany, previous owner is lovely guy, I think he is member on this forum. He recommended me to join.
Accord is from Netherlands.

Entschuldigung, ich spreche kein Deutsch, aber ich benutze nur Übersetzer. Ja, beide Autos stammen aus der 1. Generation, 1979.

i do have the name of the guy, he is honda dealer from netherlands. he sold the car to young guy and I bought it from him. he was not cery educated about the car, so I wanted to get in touch with that honda dealer. I sent few emails to his dealership but no luck.

Please, as I am new here, could I please ask you for a favour?

1. I have problems to register prelude in slovakia. To be able to get through slovak TUV, I need to source fog light - rear and dashboard switcher . Until I got it installed I wont be able to register the car on plates. I found pictures how the switcher looks like. I would like to install original one. could you please advise which forum member might help me? I would like to buy one.

2. is there any 1gen accord lover that is well educated about model history? my car comes with a vinyl roof and very special bumper railnigs. I made a deep research, found more info on both, but would like to consult. again, could you advise which member might help?

Ich habe den Namen des Kerls, er ist Honda-Händler aus den Niederlanden. Er verkaufte das Auto an einen jungen Mann und ich kaufte es von ihm. Er war nicht sehr gebildet über das Auto, also wollte ich mich mit diesem Honda-Händler in Verbindung setzen. Ich habe nur wenige E-Mails an seinen Händler geschickt, aber kein Glück.

Bitte, da ich neu hier bin, könnte ich dich bitte um einen Gefallen bitten?

1. Ich habe Probleme, Präludium in der Slowakei zu registrieren. Um durch slowakischen TÜV zu kommen, muss ich Nebellichtquelle - hinterer und Armaturenbrettwechsler beschaffen. Bis ich es installiert habe, kann ich das Auto nicht auf Tellern registrieren. Ich habe Bilder gefunden, wie der Switcher aussieht. Ich möchte das Original installieren. Könnten Sie mir bitte mitteilen, welches Forumsmitglied mir helfen könnte? Ich möchte einen kaufen.

2. Gibt es einen 1gen Akkordliebhaber, der über Modellgeschichte gut informiert ist? Mein Auto kommt mit einem Vinyldach und sehr speziellen Stoßstangen. Ich habe eine gründliche Recherche gemacht, mehr Informationen zu beiden gefunden, würde mich aber gerne beraten lassen. Könnten Sie noch einmal raten, welches Mitglied helfen könnte?

Jochen, du meinst wahrscheinlich 1. Generation HONDA, und damit N360/600 sowie S800.
Dies sind allerdings die 1. Gen. Accord und 1. Gen. Prelude von HONDA und somit erste
Produkte des zweiten Anlaufs bei HONDA . . .

yes, I know this.
I watched the video made about this particular Honda.
I even have original article from car magazine, where the car was tested with classic Volvo alongside.
There is picture and name of the guy (Mr. Kok) in the magazine, but I tried to contact him, but no response. (info@hkokautos.nl)

anyway, was thinking if you could suggest educated members from this forum :)

Foglight unit is trash, cmpl rusted out inside and broken lens.

Hello Legoloco. I tired some facebook pages / prelude, but no luck so far. Would be there any chance to get the switch from your car? I would pay for it of course. Thanks for letting me know, tomas

If you are not in a hurry then that would be possible, its bin over a year since i was there.....
