My 3G Civic EA-T, home made parts

#1 von TherealstarX26 , 09.02.2011 11:58

So, the EA-T ;)

A old ladie owned it. 185000 km, bought in 1987 by a doctor, and sale to old people too.

Parked outisde after all years before i bought it, she was not very clean, but seems to be in quite good condition.

Engine bay :

Inside :

(With the special code like K2000.)

Suddently, something catch my eyes...

WTF?..

It was pedobear

Very nice, i will hook it to the mirror

At the beginning, i bought this car with a ignition problem, to manufacture parts, like fenders, bumpers, wings.... I repared it, and like i love this car, and like she got fex rust, i will restore

I already manufacture a rear wing for her :)

I already do:

- Clean inside the car and refix all plastic panels
- Clean the engine bay
- Find the rust
- Repare brakes (I bought it with no brakes too  )

I already find my wheels, a set of 4 GOTTI wheels in 13", 14" ou en 15", or all  I did not already chose my model

I already started to manufacture the prototype of the rear bumper. It's the proto, made in 2 days. Not very clean, very basic, but very good to work on it ;)

I will make a JDM rear bumper. My the licence plate support is too rusty, so i will change it. I have to repair the rear of the car under the bumper, because i saw that one last owner back into a pole or other. There is lot of rust, and i have to reform the rear part.

I found rust under the side skirts too. 2 cm wide by 20 inches long.

More pics later, i will cleaned it before

Nice too see how You care about the little Civic.
I-GT`s are very rare to find meanwhile.

Yes it's rare to find this kind of car, and more over without rust .

EA-T is her name in Japan, but for the moment, i don't know if i keep this engine, or if a swap with a B16 or a ZC.

For the moment, i will restore it, we will see with the engine later ;)

I have already find my wheel ;)

For exemple on BMW 2002 turbo :

Sorry i haven't go better pics for the moment, i will post them as soon as them they are manufacture ;)

But you are right, i have to change the title for the moment, no swap incoming . But it seems that we can't do it.

I knew that the car got a schock at the rear. I noticed that side skirt got rust too.

Good repare from a last owner...

And rust on side skirt like i said.

But the worse, under the rear bumper...

The body panel is twisted. Either i cut this part and meld another part, or either i restor this one.

I already purshased some gift ;)

- Distribution KIT
- Oil filter
- 4 spark plug NGK

My father made my new wheels too ;)

In 13", i have to check the width, and to choose tires ;)

Nice Civic by the way, the Nissan in the background too. I like the Wing
